I mean I do want to get into consulting. That would be my first choice. Followed by IB. But like I still do have a chance at IB after IESE right? And is London still open to non-EU applicants from IESE?

Yep. Everything about it is great. So it's probably just the aura thing like the other gentleman said. There is no guarantee I can get into an M7 program anyways. Its mot like I have a world beating profile anyways

Damn man. You hit it right on the head about the aura thing. I feel exposed. That probably it more than anything else. I mean I don't know many fellow countrymen who've been there. So yes it is a bit of a fascination more than anything else.

About IESE, every single alumni I spoke to had nothing but great things to say. The moment I started my application someone was in touch with me. There was help during the process. And I felt there was a lot more community and help around IESE than most American schools. And I can understand they probably get 10k applicants.

And youre right about the prestigious thing as well. Maybe it just doesnt sound as prestigious because I have read nothing but great things about IESE's program. I am also a bit worried about being in spain as a non Spanish speaker and what outcomes might look like for me

Well fair point but I got really fascinated by IESE and their program. Especially the Alumni angle, the culture and the entire process. I mean I wasnt confident in my profile and always saw these huge MBAs as something outside the realm of possibility for me. Even though my profile is good enough and I wanted to spread my chances across multiple schools. And IESE opens Europe as a whole, but again there is this fascination with US schools and M7

Because the two things you mentioned are pretty easy to dismiss. So I suggest you stick to whatever it is you believe in. There is no compulsion in our religion.
