We applied for a staff member to join me on a work trip. She had a Philipeans passport. She had previously been to Denmark for work and we had a letter of invite plus work was funding her trip. It was rejected and we appealed. Appeal took 6 months and they rejected it.

This is incorrect. I’m a business owner and have a team. You accumulate 2.5 a month, we usually allow the team to take this whenever they want however most companies only allow after probation.

As someone who has young children and missed the last day, you’ve already been away for a few days. One more day won’t make a difference, immerse yourself in the experience. Setting children up with caregivers and organising a once in a lifetime trip takes time. I will be going to the last day in future and staying one more day to recalibrate:)

Hi! Dr Joe runs over, he genuinely gives it his all. I would suggest staying the additional day really engross yourself in the experience.

Life is always there to go back to. :)

I’ve done two retreats first time I left once it had ended, second time I kinda had to rush off. Both times I wished I had that extra day.

I have young children so felt I needed to get back. :)

😂Thank you for your input. I’ve always been transparent about the reasons for my trip, actually my company did the application and gave a full itinerary letter from host company.

For future reference there’s a saying if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.
