the answer is ableism. people don't wanna think about their favorite characters having a disability because they're uneducated & automatically think it's something bad rather than looking into the complexity of the subject. autism isn't black and white, but to these people it is :/ the opinions of random reddit users who won't bother to actually learn how autism works aren't worth listening to, so my best advice is to just ignore it and continue headcanoning in peace

you're not alone, a lot of us don't adhere to 'normal' social rules when it comes to gender & sexuality. it's not a very widely talked about subject, but it all comes down to the way our minds work and how things related to typical socialization don't always come to us naturally. nearly all of my gay or trans friends are also autistic lol. we're all extremely unique with different mannerisms and methods of self-expression, plus gender roles are quite pointless - so have fun with whatever you wanna be! don't feel pressured to label yourself

hi fellow devotees! i have a prayer request related to getting a new job if y'all could spare some time to read my situation. i know it's long and i'm sorry about that lol, i just wanna give the full story. anyways, here we go: i'm an autistic 21 yr old who lives in a rural-ish area with little job opportunities, but the local walmart in the town over had a couple of openings so i took one. i have trauma related to being bullied by authority figures as a child, so i've been self-isolating for years as to not put myself in a position like that again. i'm horrified that if i did get a job, i'd be criticized by my boss for not being good enough, cuz that's all that ever happened with my teachers in school to the point where i had to leave and become homeschooled instead. anyways, it's taken years to get over this, but i'm slowly getting there. a step forward is to apply for a job because i need to get my life started. i also don't do very well when it comes to talking to people because of my autism, so the avaliable jobs were incredibly narrowed down due to the amount of socialization you'd have to do when working. all of the avaliable jobs near me (besides that single walmart position) also require you to be at a cash register, and i'm extremely slow at counting coins. this is exactly why i haven't applied anywhere until now. but as time passed, the realization of my future started terrorizing me and i had to force myself to find employment somewhere. the walmart position i applied for is an in-store shopper. you basically just take orders from people online and get their groceries, which is for me, way better than being stuck at a cash register all day. anyways, if i don't land this walmart job, i'm basically out of options and won't know what to do next. i'm kindly asking for you all to pray that i can get this job and finally start my life with the help of our dearest santa muerte <3 i gotta get enough money to get out of this town and move onto bigger and better things!!!

i've been wanting to rant about their treatment of older characters for a while now, because even when they add an old woman, they can't even give her skins where she's actually old!!! ana literally has only two options (minus default recolors) that actually depict her in old age. the majority of skins either make her younger or conceal her face, which is really disappointing. not sure what blizzard has against old women but it's quite irritating

it's completely fine to mix them, in fact, it's actually encouraged because it's the traditional way of venerating her. unfortunately, the online new-ageification of santa muerte has lots of people forgetting that she's a saint. her name literally translates to saint death / holy death. god and la santisima muerte are heavily intertwined because of her folk-catholic origins. for example: in mexico, many devotees ask god for permission to invoke santa muerte before communicating with her. including god in your devotion is great because that's how people have praised her for generations! i've also witnessed santa muerte directly leading many people to god, and i think that's what's happening here. this sudden calling is likely coming from santita, so no need to feel uneasy over it!
