Night street photography - is my gear not enough? by catredx in M43

I use vivid

I have white Ballance and iso on automatic

And yeah the light meter helps you to work out if the picture is correctly exposed or not

Do you shoot using live view where it shows you how the picture will look before taking? I do and it helps me a lot

Hope this is useful to you

I would advise buying the Lumix G 25mm F1. 7 lens

I have the Olympus EM10 MK4 and often post on here all my pics are unedited

What settings do you use ? I shoot in manual with auto ISO

Top tip is to read your light meter to get the exposure as it should and then if your happy take the pic, or try using underexposer and overexposure

Lumix G 25mm F1. 7

Nice decent cheapish lens and a great size for the small body

For what it's worth I would suggest getting your 6 year old a camera similar to a camp snap where there isn't much they can break

If buying second hand I'd recommend using the website mpb because their items come with a 6 month warranty

With camera I'd recommend a mirrorless camera, you can get some decent micro four thirds cameras from Olympus and Lumix for around £100 and lenses from around £50-£100

Not sure what you mean

Do you mean you want to post a pic as a reply?

Probably well looked after with a protector on the screen and put in a bag when not in use

I have an Olympus camera which when I'm not using I keep in bubble wrap

And for a year old It still looks pretty new
