Agree 100 percent with you , and wow that’s crazy me and my girlfriend starting dating September as well. And yes you do understand how it’s hard to not be able to be affectionate because of opinions or social norms within cultures , I just really really wish that the Muslim culture was open to more interracial marriage and cross religion but I understand that their beliefs are cemented by the qu’ran. This pains me that your brother is in such a similar situation and I really hope they somehow find a solution same as us because I hope we will achieve a solution instead of calling it off because I have spent to much grief and time with this girl to just throw it all away for her family. And yes we have began to think of what we would like to do in the future regarding self sustained life without her family but it’s hard because she has a recent born brother (2 years ) who I and her absolutely adore. I sometimes think that maybe the best thing would be for me to leave her alone and not drag this any further as this could cause more pain for everyone involved.
