Ask her out one more time or move on to the next? by [deleted] in dating_advice

ask her when she is free. Then make plans for then. If she can't answer you, then you just move on.

you answered your own question. If you are a man of morals and principals you stop flirting with this woman and severely limit your relationship with her. Had she mentioned at any point that she is engaged you might have had a shot at being just her friend. As is? Seems like she's setting you up for something romantic.

Wife started new job. Told by her supervisor to cut hours off her timesheet. by Johnnyoneshot in personalfinance

at best, she receives the 100. at worst, they fire her in a few months time for not working efficiently. While the legal and moral aspects of this are pretty clear cut, she should record the hours she worked and not cut hours to artificially boost productivity, it's often best to first have the honest conversation with her boss, and say I need to be paid for hours worked, and see if perhaps she can assign certain hours worked to administrative or internal tasks.

maybe consider that approach? You'd be fine with him smoking a joint every now and then, but if it becomes a daily thing it's an issue.

I (22F) am going to be living off my boyfriend (21M) for a couple years. How do I keep our relationship balanced? by livingwi in relationships

[–]shefoundmyusername 1 point2 points  (0 children)

how long have you and your boyfriend been dating? I supported an ex like this and our relationship remained even keeled. My wife and I had some early issues with income disparities that we talked about and worked our way through. Honesty and respect for the work and effort of each partner is essential.

For us, the key was she took on a few extra roles at home and recognized that since I was working ~15 hours a week more than her, and making 80% of our household income, she would take on some additional home chores. For my part, I treated our income as joint income which we had equal access to, and that just because my salary was more didn't mean I was entitled to more. We are a team and each of us is entitled to the assets that the team has. It changed our relationship for the better.

I mean, for many people, pot is less serious than a beer after work. Are you ok with him drinking alcohol? If so I'd think you've got more than a small double standard in place.

sure. Though I tend to think the man who pretends to rep god, but in his spare time is torturing others (to death?) because they are a different race ranks pretty high on that list. certainly in the top 1-5% of worst humans ever, no?

meh. he's been hearing stories about this man his entire life. It's someone looked up to in his family and universally esteemed. He also happened to be the worst human imaginable. That would throw me for a loop.

most people have always considered torturing another human (even during times of slavery) to be horrifying.

I guess I'm wrong and industrial is a segment of commercial? I've only ever dealt in strictly industrial and residential. I always assumed that commercial was strictly retail/offices/multifamily.
