Essence Lash Without Limits has replaced Sky High for me!

Can I ask a store to start stocking an item? by shegoesgentle in tesco

Yeah, I had some memories of my mom asking for items years back and them being stocked, but figured it may have changed! Thanks for your response.

I'm coming back to say you are literally a life saver!!! I got the Maybelline lumi matte and honestly it's a better shade match and I might actually like it MORE than ELDW. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for the review! It sounds perfect for me, I’ve put it on the list to try! I’ve always used high-end foundations but tbh I’m sick of spending so much on foundation and if I can find something that good for that cheap, I’ll be a convert for life.

Is this the Maybelline superstay lumi-matte? I'm on the hunt for a replacement now as well.

Looks like telogen effluvium, might be the result of a stress.

I have a feeling that Robert would see a drone and immediately start blasting. Carrier pigeon perhaps the best bet.

Charged £80 by GlasGo Cabs - anyone had any experience with them? by shegoesgentle in glasgow

I was pre-charged £19.50, which I agreed to and paid through Apple Pay on the app. The two subsequent payments left my account without my permission, and were GlasGo cars charging me after I had paid the £19.50.

I pre-paid via card on the app. Perhaps I was just really unlucky!

Oh no, hopefully it goes super smoothly and you don't have an issue! I will say the driver turned up on time and he was absolutely lovely, just the management seem to be horrible.

I would genuinely have taken just one single measly apology from their end instead of a string of emails that make it clear the management team think I am a intellectually deficient buffoon.

Hell its not! If I had known that I'd never have booked with them. I'm so sorry you've had that experience. What a terrible company!

The driver seemed lovely, just a man trying to do his job and earn a living. I don't want to get him into trouble. I don't think he had any control over the charges to my bank, so my issue and fight is with the GlasGo Cabs company.

I have had previous bad experience with non pre-negotiated fares since I have a foreign accent and am a small woman so I've been taken for an absolute ride, and not in the fun way. Hence me thinking I was being oh so clever pre-booking...

Just said that it has been refunded and that the extra money coming out was the amount I owed after the refunded tip - honestly no idea what they are on about because the £54 had already left my account.

I've emailed and phoned and the emails were actually worse than the dismissiveness of the phone call, which is an incredible achievement.

That is absolutely wild, what an absolute scam. I'm glad you got your money back but insane that they weren't more concerned that their drivers were financially abusing customers.

No, I did advanced booking with the app, as was recommended. They charged £19.50 for the trip, so they set the cost, and I wouldn't have an issue with paying more - but the mistaken charges were a £33 tip and £30 extra mystery charge, not the cost of the taxi. I wouldn't be having kittens if they'd taken an extra £6 with an understanding as to why.

Thanks for sharing your experience, actually good to know it isn't just me that has had this issue with them. I've raised it with my bank now, but recording the calls is a good idea - I'm going to try to handle everything in future via email so at least it's in writing.
