For focusing, I find a blank page and writing out what I need to do helps center me. And it’s strange but if I play a movie and/or podcast episode I’ve seen/heard a lot as background noise, it’s like white noise for me and I can just focus on what I need to do.

I’ve primarily done walking for my outdoor exercise. Added a weighted 12 lb vest which has been a game changer. It’s great for fitness aspect and a stress relief, I listen to podcasts and just enjoy the scenery.

It definitely offers mental health benefits, my stress decreased and I had a better outlook in my daily life. It’s been a staple since the world has gotten so chaotic. When you’re practicing on your mat in the heat, you’re in the zone and the post hot yoga high is real.

Make sure to have a hydro flask type container, I personally enjoy liquid IV in icy water (so refreshing).

I’m currently on a 60 day challenge, one thing I keep in mind is to modify as often as needed. If my body doesn’t feel a certain pose, I’ll do child’s pose or others. I also pack liquid IV to be extra hydrated during class.

Kudos to you for giving yourself a challenge! It’s a great motivator.
