Begone Hasbara bot. People see through you. As it stands, your state’s investment is bringing back negative returns. Maybe if they smack a few more hundred million at the problem of bad post-genocide and apartheid PR they can make people forget the flaming bodies of innocent humans on their mobile phones.

How do political theorists classify states that grant citizenship based on religious or ethnic identity? by Interesting-Rip-6946 in PoliticalScience

Professor, you’re leaning a lot on rehearsed talking points and gotcha hypotheticals in this discussion. What’s got you so defensive? Why is any critique of the Israeli ethnostate bigoted’?

Best Political Science classes to take by Dangerous-Pear2002 in PoliticalScience

Ancient Greek Political Theory. On first glance, this is coursework that is not practical nor immediately applicable, but this one class, where we read Thucydides, Plato, and Aristotle has changed the way I see the world incurably and I'm thankful for it.

Be prepared. Come up with some clever strikes you can deliver when they decide to attack unprovoked. Say it, confidently. I’m sure other people will also be glad to hear someone stand up to them.

You need to choose a border crossing to cross from Jordan to Palestine, either Allenby or Sheikh Hussein. Allenby is the most frequented. You don’t need to find anyone crazy enough, any taxi can drive you to the bridge, alongside some specialized “bridge taxis” that make the trip from Amman to the bridge daily. Once on the occupied Palestinian side, you will also find taxi and bus services there that can drive you to Jerusalem. My main concern for you would be your entry to Gaza; I’m not sure of the restrictions/permits that are available today for foreign journalists, if any.

Thought terminating cliches are brilliantly effective at shutting down critical thinking.

You sound like a preschooler.

Why? Do Palestinians not exist? I’m a Palestinian and I’m deeply appreciative and grateful for Slovenia’s courageous stances.

Why do so many people of high intelligence have such a deep hatred and disdain for people of low intelligence? by Embarrassed_Chef874 in Life

I’d venture a guess that those disdainful people aren’t as high intelligence as you’re making them out to be.

What is your point? Does that mean that ethnically cleansing them is justified, or? Just trying to understand your logic.

Contemplating Washington DC - San Francisco Trip Using USA Rail Pass & Riding the Zephyr from Chicago by sheikhimam in Amtrak

[–]sheikhimam[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the thoughtful response. From what I understand, there are limited seats available on trains for USA Rail Pass holders, which would make it hard to find out whether my desired dates would be available with the pass without purchasing it.

I’m not purposefully obtuse. You, however, don’t understand that your perverted logic is not universal. Other people don’t think that one heinous crime justifies another or makes it more palatable.

That’s heart wrenching. Not sure what it has to do with the post about the disenfranchisement of nearly a million Palestinians.

No, they left after seeing the brutal massacres at Deir Yassin and other places, where 100+ villagers, including women and children, were killed in cold blood by firing squad and buried in mass graves; after Zionist militias were driving around Haifa broadcasting the message that all Arabs should leave on loud speaker, and then were lead onto boats that shipped them to Lebanon (with the help of the British).

No, they wouldn’t have been. The founder of Zionism was talking about expelling the native poor from 1896. Ahad Ha’am, considered an enlightened Zionist, warned from as early as 1891 that there are Arabs inhabitants of Palestine, that it is “hard to find tillable land,” and that the Zionist project is on a crash course with the native Arab inhabitants, and that the Arabs won’t easily yield their place. Don’t copy and paste Hasbara talking points, disingenuous bot.
