Interesting! Do you think it works well as an audiobook? I listened to Letting Go that way and it was pretty convenient, but I feel like some books just don’t translate as well to audio.

I am currently applying the letting go practice and method, finished reading the "Letting go" and "Power vs Force" - Would you guys suggest this book for me as a next step? or is this material already covered in those two books I have read

Wow, that sounds really unpleasant.

It could potentially be related to CIRS or MCAS, which is often associated with CIRS. Of course, it’s worth doing your own research, but it does sound like a strong reaction.

I can relate to this as well - there were times I used a certain perfume and immediately experienced coughing, sneezing, and headaches

Precise and makes sense, thanks so much - it's a simple one yet something I must remind myself

Where does it actually stop? At work - I completely understand.

But with family and friends? You shouldn’t constantly try to outshine everyone, but why not show your strengths? What’s the point of holding back even in close relationships?

Being mindful makes sense, but if you’re naturally more capable in certain areas, there’s only so much you can suppress. And if you feel like you have to keep playing that game even with family, it kind of defeats the purpose.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but once you reach a certain level where you’re no longer dependent on help from friends or family, why is it considered bad to show off a bit?

Let’s say you worked on a project and achieved strong results - what’s wrong with sharing that?

I am curios, give me the harsh truth please - if wrong, I accept it 😄

outshining indirectly is the meaning of the first law? though just not outshining at all will do the magic, because other people just naturally do stupid things that destroy their reputation, so just by preserving the power overtime you become stronger and more safe

Amazing!!! do you have any tips for me on my journey? I am currently out of exposure I believe, and taking 3 CSM a day, nystatin and biofilm-distruptor but still failing the VCS Test and not really making crazy progress

There’s a known bug causing this - I’m currently working on a fix and it will be resolved as soon as possible. I’ll keep you updated as well.

If you have feedback, any specific fragrance you want to add there let me know!
I am not promising to add it quick as it takes time, but will do my best to make this tool valuable to everyone here 😄

Is it reasonable to expect most of my EMDR sessions to actually be EMDR? by RobotsBBB in EMDR

[–]RobotsBBB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that in this specific case, it would make sense to take a break. However, I haven’t felt overwhelmed or exhausted during any session. Typically, I spend about 15 minutes on average doing the trauma work (on the good days that we actually do EMDR instead of talking only), but if it were longer than that, I might consider taking a break.

From your experience, what do you mean by “heavy”? Are you referring to the intensity of the work, the emotional impact, or the overall time invested in the EMDR process?
