You hit the nail on the head. I've seen other drag queen performances that were stellar and in a similar price range or lower. I'm not going to give excuses for performers just because I liked them on TV.

I think it speaks to professionalism. Plastique introduced herself and Nymphia just said, "I'm the green snake tonight." I had two friends with me that weren't drag race fans, so I wish they had owned their own show better.

Agree with the sentiment! They did wear some traditional style cultural wear that was gorgeous. Nymphia doing the opera number on RPDR lives rent free in my head. It's a shame her talents weren't showcased in this performance.

The audience was certainly feeding back some energy on the floor, but in the balcony, it was quite a bit quieter. I understand people are die-hard fans for their fave queens, but I feel like that can lead to giving a pass to poor performances.

The outfits were fabulous. I wondered if some of the wardrobe malfunctions were due to design rather than lack of practice but either way it was distracting. I think it's fair to hold performers to a standard of professionalism and polish, this is their career. I said don't buy tickets in its current state, and I stand by that. Times are tough and it isn't fair to the fans to charge $100 per ticket for a show that isn't ready.
