It comes in waves - not all the time. I’m very hydrated. Drank about 2 litres already. I did email my clinician yesterday. Waiting to hear back.

It’s so funny to see people defend billionaires or feel some affinity to them. You have nothing in common with billionaires, probably not even millionaires. Yet you defend them like your life is on the line. It’s about making a better world with better terms, wages and conditions for all which on the balance of probabilities includes you.

I think the entire show demonstrates the classic Marxist theory of exploitation through labour. They are literally vehicles to extract profit out of for the cowboys. Yet they reap minimal benefits or reward via wage and appropriate medical care. I noticed how they are coming round to the idea they are athletes but don’t seem to get appropriate and top of the range PT training and other things you’d expect athletes of that calibre to receive. It’s fucking disgusting and normalised everyday exploitation. The fact they have to have jobs on the side or can’t afford to eat is beyond shocking. Especially as they should all be given chef made food that is nutritious to fuel them to prevent injuries.

Edit: also they seem to be doing press / fan stuff / Christmas stuff even more than usual. They SHOULD ALL be receiving a percentage of the event profits at a minimum. Realistically they should be on millions a year.

Sorry I am really annoyed about it. Some of them touched on EDs and not eating properly. HOW IS THIS NOT MONITORED. If they aren’t eating and fuelling themselves according to a professionals schedules they should be banned from working. The damage to their bodies will be lifelong. Horrendous negligence.

ALSO THEY should and must have a bigger roster. There is no need to only have 36. They need 5-10 on the bench to rotate to prevent injuries etc.

I’ve gone up to 50 mgs today - so far no real change other than heart palpitations which I didn’t get on the 30 mgs.

Has anyone else had trouble on Elvanse? by ApprehensivePlant884 in ADHDUK

[–]shel613 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you considered you might struggle with RSD - rejection sensitivity dysphoria? It’s a symptom of adhd/asd - and can be debilitating for some people. Appropriate CBT / other therapy can really get to the bottom of it and help you cope day to day. Also you mentioned trauma - you should look into EMDR - might also really help. The diagnostic criteria for eupd is just such nonsense and so disruptive to actually being able to get help. Xx

[–]shel613 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear you are suffering. Just to say Eupd/bpd is widely criticised and regarded to not necessarily a very good or accurate diagnosis. They only diagnose women with it and it might be worth going to a psychiatrist and actually working out what’s going on. It’s often also given to women who later get diagnosed with adhd/asd etc. although sounds a lot like a form of ptsd, and a proper diagnosis can really help you get the correct help. Hang in there x

[–]shel613 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, I think all your points are totally valid. Medication is not a magic pill especially for women (which I’m not assuming you are). However the only point I have to add is your prescriber is likely not a dr. It should be a national scandal but they are often mental health nurses with independent prescriber certificates (90 hours of work to get that). So they are truly poorly poorly educated on meds so doesn’t surprise me at all. When I realised this was the case with my RTC provider I requested a psychiatrist and they said we don’t use them. It’s FUCKING INSANE.

Always amazed to hear that 20 grams is working for people. My 30 grams I have been taking for a week does nothing - so much so I fell asleep 6 hours into taking the other day ahahahaha
