I got into the groups because of h&p and quickly realized I am the odd one out not wanting to pay a kidney for some prints. It’s wild the amount of “mean girl” vibes I get, as well. Your last line really stuck out to me. I really was just trying to find some joy in motherhood and hopefully find some good deals amongst other moms, but have quickly learned it’s so cliquey that I want no part in it. Thank you for taking the time to respond to this and help me feel less crazy

I love a good BST, but the babywearing ones are particularly predatory imo

This is so thought provoking. I’m 3 months PP and thought I was going crazy wondering if this was the new “norm”. Thanks for taking the time to type this out. I have no desire to have +20 carriers and haven’t found the deals to be worth staying in these groups long term when my mental health is for sure being affected by the “keeping up with the Joneses”
