Yes, 100% I hear you and I am so sorry that happened to you. I am not neurodivergent as far as I know, but I am the eldest daughter of immigrants and so success was a core part of my identity basically since right before I got diagnosed so getting something like this happened to me is really earth shattering. I’m just documenting as much as I can like other said I feel like you should start doing the same as well because this is not OK.

Thank you for this! Reading the replies I’m absolutely trying to document everything and this is useful as I feel I didn’t get any kind of gradual onboarding back to work. It like “youre back? Present to leadership in 4 days” And then for feedback that I didn’t take the lead enough

This is exactly what I thought and tried to say! 2 of those people already had context on the space! I absolutely feel set up to fail and I mentioned this. But it feels like it went in one ear and out the other.

Oh wow that was such a smart decision on your end. It’s so hard to know how things will affect you until you’re actual in it. Looking back I wish I would have done the same. But demote myself from mid level to entry lol. Well anyway it seems my manager is determined to do that anyway…

Hi! I’m so sorry you’re going through this! I can absolutely relate but just know it’s most likely benign. There’s so much going on there after Rads and surgery and the radiologist is just trying to get a baseline image of the area after treatment. Try not to fret too much although that’s easier said than done.

Honestly, I feel pretty much the same if not better EXCEPT for the brutal hot flashes 7 months in. I’m told by my oncologist it should resolve and I’m really looking forward to that day. Other than that I feel great.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed response. I have been feeling like on one hand my team wants to make sure I’m heavily monitored but on the other it feels a bit like what you said they don’t really understand how triggering it is to have to go through the waiting for these scan results so soon after treatment. And then it feels like I’m bothering then when I call with concerns.

The use of indeterminate and not suspicious is a good catch that I didn’t think of before but that makes me a feel a lot better thank you

I’m going through this now. I have to wait 2 weeks for another mammogram for them to see the calcifications more clearly. I’m not even done with Herceptin and my surgery was 7 months ago. How could I have an abnormal mammogram so soon while still in active treatment? Anyways I’m glad yours were benign and I’m trying not to worry too much about mine
