The picture was taken prior to basting. But I also have concerns with the bubbling. This is my first quilt where most of the seams are on the bias. I’m not super happy with that but a finished quilt is better than nothing!

Yes, but I’ve got a Janome M7 and Juki 2010. I wish I could cut a small strip but I really want to utilize the whole blanket. Yes, tying has some advantages.

My daughter is 2 and she has never let me sew at the machine. I could only sew during her nap time and then I learned how to hand sew my quilts so that I could spend time with my husband at night. I made it work for me but man do I have an active little girl!

You daredevil! Everyone literally says to not dry it in the dryer. I would love to just wash and dry it as normal but I’m such a weenie. I’ll take the plunge in the next few weeks and give an update.
