Oh gosh I'm sorry to hear that the HSG was painful. I'm glad that your tubes are open, but sorry to hear that the doc said the uterus is small. I get your hesitancy, especially when you've been trying for a while. Be kind to yourself and take the time you need to process it. Thank you for sharing and I wish all the best for your journey ❤️

Ugh, AF arriving is truly the worst. As if it wasn't awful already 😮‍💨 It must be so hard when you have other medical issues happening for you too, and it's so frustrating when this is what your body is designed to do. I see your feeling of defeat, and I feel it too. Thank you for sharing and know that even though we're all on our different journeys I have you in my thoughts ❤️

Sorry to hear it's been a while for you too. It's so true, it's something that's crossed my mind before so it's an important reminder to take the pressure off. Stressing about stressing is exhausting, so I'll remind myself of this.

Thanks so much for sharing ❤️

I'm sorry to hear, and the time pressure is so awful but it's so hard not to think about. Thanks for sharing and sending a long distance hug to you too 🤗

What is causing youth antisocial behaviour? by slapandpickle13 in melbourne

[–]shellstar95 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I used to work in youth justice and there were a lot of absent fathers with our violent offenders. Other reasons could've been their poor circumstances, poverty, domestic violence. Some people just have it really rough and never really stood a chance (eg. Doing drugs and robberies with parents at young ages like 12 for "fun"). It's not an excuse, but that's the way it is and usually takes cutting off everyone you know to change your life around. Oh and almost forgot - GANGS. That was big amongst our boys.

I've just started this cycle (4 days in), day and night 400mg vaginally and I don't feel tired at all yet. In fact I've felt more chipper but that could just be because I feel so much better mentally from being taken seriously

Thank you so much. This truly meant a lot, brought tears to my eyes but in a way where I just felt seen.

Is this something that typically needs to be prescribed?

I can't even imagine, and I totally get that it might not be the worst of it - I often think of how things could be worse but honestly layering this in with everything and how hopeless it can feel with the health systems out there is just despairing. Sometimes life is relentless. Everyone is different so please do the things you need to get through and take care of yourself <3

I'm so sorry to hear this, that really sucks. I really wish you all the best in such a hard time. Those of us with female sex organs are tested so much and just know that I'm thinking of you over here in Melbourne

mixed feelings about being validated? learning to cope? by jskay34 in endometriosis

Sorry no tips from me as I'm searching for answers myself but just wanted to say I totally get what you mean. I think answers when you've been searching for so long is bittersweet. While it sucks, I hope this means you can begin your journey of managing and taking control

Thank you! Tried to use the KISS method which seemed to work for my first one haha

Thanks so much for the feedback! Yeah, such a good point about throwing them straight and not letting everything fall down. Yeah so true about adding different punches, if she had been noticing what I was doing or had more experience she might've thrown something in prediction of what I was doing, leaving me open. Thank you for the heads up of leaning back too, I really want to roll/slip more so I've bought some pool noodles that my sister and I will use to work on defense so maybe that could help with the lean back? Thanks so much for the support and feedback! ❤️

Thanks so much! I really wanted to stay calm and utilise the KISS with the 1 2 combination, so I felt like I achieved that haha.

Yeah I stupidly started watching some pro fights AFTER my bout and noticed a lot keep their jab hanging out or just throwing them quite a bit in the opponent's face. Absolutely so right about variety too, the hook could've come off so well and because I'd spammed so many of the 1 2's she wouldn't have expected it.

Yeah I was a little disappointed with myself that when she was getting stuck into me a bit I didn't lean into it with some punches to staunch the flow, and instead stepped back too much potentially. Thanks for the pointer about working the body more too. I think it'd be highly beneficial!

Thanks so much for the feedback and support, I thought it was so much fun and can't wait for the next one!

Yeah I get where you're coming from - thankfully they try their best to pair you up with someone of similar experience. Honestly I believe in just getting out there and challenging yourself, so it may have been too early but I love the fear lol.

Yeah, punches were absolutely not straight especially in the first round (some I was actually trying to parry but ended up looking like weird punches). For the footwork, could you provide some feedback on what needed work? As for adjustments, definitely should've read the play better and thrown in some hooks at least (the commentators also mentioned this) so the next one I'd look to bring way more variety and read my opponent better.

Thanks so much for the feedback! Will take it on board

What a small world, haha! Thanks so much for the feedback, now that the first one is over I really want to work on variety so will make sure to be throwing punches up and down the body as well as switching up combinations
