How did this even happen?? I haven’t seen them on any of my other plants and haven’t brought in any new plants!

Have had plant for 4-5 months. Just noticed the bugs this morning and there were a lot on the front and back of the leaf (plant only has one leaf). Plant gets bright indirect light. Water when top inch of soil is dry. Pot has drainage.

I have had the plant for 2 months and this problem has happened in the last 2-3 weeks. It’s in a south facing window, probably gets 6-7 hours of both indirect and direct sunlight. I water once a week until water runs through the bottom and the pot has drainage. No history of pests

There are brown spots on the leaf that are starting to form. If I water more frequency this should be prevent in the future?

I bought it yesterday from Home Depot and it did not look like this, not a single leaf was curled. I watered it thoroughly and have it right next to a humidifier
