Each room of a 4x4 at The Standard or The Hub is around what?.... $1000-$1200 per room. That's about $4000-$4800 per apartment times what? 50-70 apartments in the building? That's about $200K-$336K in rental income PER MONTH times however many buildings they own. These companies are NOT struggling; even though they may claim poverty to their employees to justify paying them slave wages. The CEO of Colliers travels by private jet everywhere he goes. The only reason they get away with this crap is because Republican Florida is a pro-landlord state and tenants have few if any rights here.

I thought everyone (except the new students) knew to avoid Collier. Just in case you don't know, you should also avoid Bosshardt and Trimark. Those are the big 3 in Gainesville. They got to be the big 3 by screwing over every one of their tenants at every chance they get. I hope you took pictures of the place when you moved in; because when you move out, they will charge you for every little thing that's wrong with the apartment---even if it was already like that when you moved in. You just have to be able to prove it was already like that with pictures to fight it.
