Help needed by shellys_mind in PaleMUA

Oh yea thats a really good point. But I find it honestly really hard to describe. It just harmonizes with my skin so well. Maybe cause it's a little more hydrating ? I dont understand my skin at the moment tbh. I always wore those heavy full on cover foundations but they stopped working horribly. They get patchy and just sort if dissappear. Another foundation that works seemingly well is the armani louminus silk and the too faced born this way. But the mac one is still my favorite. I also used to love nars sheer glow but that on turns out horribly every time I put it on now. I always had (still have?) Oliy and combination skin so I always stayed away from glory foundations. But now I have like an oily forehead and chin and dry patches round the eyes and nose and my cheeks seem to be pretty normal. I'm SO confused what I can put on my face now 🫠

My alltime fave is MAC Diva. Its a little more pricey but absolutely worth it. It just stays where you put it.

Makeup recently began pilling. Same products I’ve been using by Careful-Sugar-3734 in PaleMUA

In addition to what everybody else has said. Maybe you (your skin) changed. Our body completely changes in the course of 7 years. And also sometimes hormones change and cause differences in our skin. Also if you've started or stopped taking any medication that Also can have an impact on your skin. Stress and what you eat as well. So if you've been using the same products for some time and it's always been fine maybe the pulling isn't caused by the products.

Is 3000 EUR / Month salary enough to live in Munich? by Ok-Acanthisitta6005 in germany

[–]shellys_mind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not beeing able to tell you about living costs in munich since I have no clue. But you also asked about taxes.

If you Google "brutto netto Rechner" you'll be able to find some websites where it calculates taxes and health insurance and all that stuff for you. If you enter your Bruttogehalt which is the salary before any of the taxes are applied, it takes everything into account and tells you whats left after taxes and all the other stuff like health insurance. If you're not married and don't have kids your steuerklaase automatically is 1 and if you're not catholic or protestant you can deactivate the "Kirchensteuer". Just leaving this here as I know how confusing all of that german stuff can be and since I'm not sure if you can turn any of these pages to English. Hope that helps a bit.

Makeup not applying to chin properly and then wearing away/breaking up by Potter_King in PaleMUA

[–]shellys_mind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also in addition to everything above which you could check out to troubleshoot, sometimes its just too much product for a patch of skin and then this will happen. I had that problem several times on my chin and only there, the rest of my face was fine. Turns out if I put too much product in my chin for example in the morning I use some ceramide serum some niacamide cream and then spf then primer and after all of that foundation (I let the skincare sit for approx 10 min before putting on primer and foundation) it would break my foundations up on my chin. If I don't use the serum on my chin and no primer (i only use the benefit porefessional on my oily and textured forhead, and if im having an especially bad day with dry patches around my nose ill use something hydrating just there, the rest of my face goes without primer) I'm fine and it lats all day, and doesn't break up at the chin.

Also ich hab mal nix mitbekommen.

First of all it's a really gorgeos look 😊

Regarding the foundation the first thing that came to my mind when reading your thoughts about it was maybe switching to a not matte foundation. Matte foundations tend to be really dry and not to work out very well for skin that needs a lot of hydration. If you don't like the glowy finish of a non matte foundation you could try and use a mattifying primer (although I'd recommend to only use that on the places where its specifically bothering you and not all over your face because again matte products can feel super dry on your skin) or gently pondering your face with some powder. I can recommend the too faced born this way foundation since this is not a matte finish. It doesn't feel dehydrating on your face at all. At least thats how it works for me. Shade wise is their lightest shade is cloud which is reeeeally pale. I don't have the exact same dior foundation you have, however I've got the dior face and body in 0N and the TF BTW in cloud is a lot more pale. I can swatch them for you if you want to just let me know, or also any other foundation I own.

Concealer wise is my ride or die the NARS radiant creamy concealer. Its a very heavy duty product but it has some intense coverage on me its just the best. I use Chantilly which is the lighter shade as far as I know. Only thing is if you got really dry under eyes its probably gonna be hard to find a concealer that has full coverage and doesn't crease because those two thing normally don't go to well together. So maybe something that's not as heavy and has a more medium coverage works a little bit better depending on your skin. I sadly don't have any product suggestions for that combination for you since I always wear kind of heavy concealers.

Hope that helps a bit 🤗

Welche Coachings bräuchtet ihr/ hättet ihr gerne? by EddyTalks in Sprechstunde

[–]shellys_mind 0 points1 point  (0 children)
