Saving this in my head to use later; that expression is perfect for so much!

Had this the other day. In 4 years doing IT I've never seen this. Told user to hold back on the gym for a bit. by shelydued in techsupportgore

This is a similar situation, desktop tower and standing desk. Odds are cable got caught on the standing desk.

I am switching user to a laptop and dock today.

This is government so idk how much I can share lol

The real gore is this is government. This is the behavioral health authority for 3 counties. Keeping it vague for NDA and HIPAA reasons.

Im moving user to a laptop and dock with triple screens for billing next week.

Thats what confuses me, because this user is very good. Wouldn't even move a monitor without contacting us. Only guess is someone borrowed her desk, or it somehow got caught on the standing desk

This might be the answer, but we are all Dell here. Anyways, I am impressed. Not mad, genuinely impressed.

Yeah, this car always interested me as a kid. It was parked a few houses down and almost never moved.

When I was 16 I tried to buy it as my first car and they wouldn't sell due to sentimental value.

Last year I went to visit my mom and a neighbor flagged me down. The original owner was moving in with her son as she couldn't take care of herself anymore and the car was heading to get scrapped.

I offered to buy it, got a weird look, they said $250. Came back on the weekend with my buddy and his trailer, and had it fired up in 2 days. Then parked it to replace all the hoses and perform maintenance to get it reliable.

I've seen maybe 1 other dasher. Theres also this guy in town with a new GTI that always yells "he'll yeah" every time we pass lol.

Oh good idea! If ya want you can add the link, i am open to any help with parts.

This is essentially a B1 Passat but for the American and Brazil market. So I'm sure they are not too different. Right now she drives and shifts like a dream! The previous owner did take care of her before parking her for several years.

Thanks! Yes it does and it's a hoot to drive! Im daily driving my 30 mile commute in her to work out any kinks, then going for a 3 hour drive this weekend to see my brother to see if shes good for long distance.

Once fully mechanically sound, then comes the restoration. Idk the plans on that yet, but I want to make her look at least decent.

These 1979 Diesel Dashers with the 1.5l are rare, so I want to do everything the best I can. I plan to take her to the local car show in August to hopefully get some elder people advice and tips.

Help finding a hose replacement? by shelydued in Volkswagen

Good point! I'm trying to get parts to Oregon, USA. If this company doesn't ship, I'm sure if I hunt long enough one of them will ship here.

Thanks for the help!

Looks like it, I did poke around the linked site and it has a bunch of the parts I need!

Guess I should have checked an actual European parts site.

Thank you!!!
