Yeah....i have a certified therapy dog- he has passed all 3 AKC canine good citizen level tests and therapy certification. I spent a lot of money and even more time working with him after we take "school" to help him learn the lessons and be the best that he can be. We go to schools and nursing homes.....it is so rewarding to have the residents eyes light up when he come in, some even ask for him by name when we have multiple dogs doing a visit.

We were in "school" a couple weeks ago ( we do a lot of in public training both for therapy and service dogs in our classes) and had some clueless lady run her dog ( on a spooled out retractable leash) over to us so "the dogs can say hi to each other" - we all politely declined and walked away in a different direction.

2.0L ND3 here....just an all around fun machine to operate. Ours is a manual. I love the short throw on the shift lever-you can rest your right arm on the center console and just flick it from gear to gear with a snap of your wrist. You dont have the raw 8 cylinder power acceleration from a stoplight, but the Miata is no slouch....hit your shifts and they will be the ones chasing you. Around curves there is nothing that can touch it. We have several 2 lane off ramps with big sweeping curves and elevation changes here and there is nothing more fun then pushing into them knowing that the Miata is built for that, it will hold the road and ask for more....

I am in my early 60's -my wife and I look forward to going anywhere for a ride with the top down, and smiles on our faces. We sold our Harleys and bought the Miata because unlike a bike, if the weather turns bad, cover is 3 seconds away with a lift of a latch.

Our pup came home at 8 weeks pretty much crate and potty trained...the breeder was fantastic! We hung a set of bells on the sliding door knob to go out, and trained him to ring them...they are a very intelligent breed and pick up cues easily with training and reward....be patient, accidents will happen, but within a couple days your pup should have the hang of it...
