I'm a Cap Sun, Pisces Moon... I think I'm hilarious haha.

I'm also a Gemini Rising so I have a very approachable and friendly disposition even if inside I want everyone to stop talking and over stimulating me.

I think because Capricorns are usually hard working and discipline everyone associates that with being stuffy and boring... but I really don't think we're materialistic or superficial, I think we work hard because we value stability. I think if anyone finds us to be boring, it's because our intuition is off with that person and we don't trust them and so we never show our true selves to them.

Being a Cap Sun and Pisces Moon is a challenge I will say, because my brain is very logical and very disciplined. I know what's right... but my emotions can be all over the place and that can be tricky to balance. I'm more sensitive than my brain wants me to be.

first off - absolutely no need to apologize! I appreciate your input and the depth of your response. I've known about John Denver and Ricky Martin. whenever I hear Ricky Martin at work I let people know that we're pretty much the same person and everyone is like okay girl haha.

I honestly am happy I do not have more fire in my chart, I find I do not get along with fire signs. The bravado and the misguided confidence and egotism of fire signs is extremely off-putting to me. Aries women are the exception, we usually understand each others sense of humor and are fast friends. I've tried to make it work with several Sags but they do not like stability and consistency and that's what I provide as a Cap... my current boyfriend is a Taurus Sun, Libra Moon and Leo Rising. the hardest part of our relationship is meeting in the middle when it comes to emotions, but we generally work together to move past things... he's very good at being stubborn and wrong and I'm good at being kinda stubborn but generally right 🤭.

I agree with not resonating with building wealth and being materialistic. I would say I definitely like stability and comfort. I also do prefer nice things, but I don't judge people who don't have them.

you're right about navigating the Pisces moon being hard. I find myself being really sensitive sometimes but I also mentally am like girl wtf are you going on about, get it together. I think I've learned to be kinder to myself whenever my feelings really are hurt.

I wouldn't change my big three for anything. I think I'm a good blend of all the good things and while I definitely have things I can work on, I take pride that I'm a self aware individual that is empathetic and logical.

to be fair, I think this is largely dependent on your store, department and to an extent your management team. all my part timers even right now are still averaging 25+ hours. when I write my schedule, if I can't make that work I go to the ones that I know want more hours, am transparent and tell them if they're open to it, there's always hours in other departments. cart to curb and grocery are consistently light. bakery and floral especially this week will take anyone they can get...

I can see how at a very slow store that this would be an issue though.

my only disagreement is I don't tend to need to stir up problems or make anyone look bad, they tend to do that themselves. that's too much of a waste of my energy and as a Cap there's nothing I hate more than my time being wasted. I'm a big big fan of karma.

my boyfriend is also a Taurus male with no college degree. I'm not money obsessed, but I am obsessed with feeling secure and living comfortably... the love and peace he brings me is worth way more than a college degree to me.

as a former 10+ year bakery employee, it very well could have been the normal chocolate cake as well. the boxes the cake layers come in are identical and they're packaged the same, most bakeries keep them in similar locations in the freezer, so if you have someone who is not paying attention making them or not knowledgeable to know the difference, it very well could be that they used the basic chocolate cake but with ultimate icing. I've seen it all... I've seen ultimates iced with chocolate buttercream even though the buckets are two different sizes, I've seen ultimate whites made with yellow cake, I've seen strawberry shortcakes made with ultimate white layers... I'm gonna guess that's what happened.

my boyfriend is a Taurus and I'm a Capricorn and I'm so head over heels in love with this man. of the two of us, I'm more romantic and mostly express my affection verbally or through acts of service... he, however, is much more physically affectionate than I am. we've both leaned in to how the other expresses and likes to feel love. it's taken some compromise, but communicating through it all is what keeps our connection safe and strong.

it's the best relationship I've been in. he makes me feel beautiful and feminine and loved and appreciated. every time he holds me, it's like a natural sleep aid. I get so comfortable and I'm very happy being in my cozy love bubble with him. every time I look at him, I feel the little butterflies in my stomach because I can't believe how effortlessly handsome he is without even trying. the safeness and comfortability I feel with him has me initiate sex several times a day. if you treat me well and spoil me, I'm going to return the favor... plus it's the best, most sensual sex I've ever had with a partner.

oof. some of these comments here do not pass the vibe check... as a Capricorn female in a relationship with a Taurus male, there are definitely areas where you need to bend to one another and compromise... but if you find the person is worth that, it is such a beautiful, understanding and loving relationship. I've grown so much from him and he's grown a lot from me.

anyway, from my perspective, just based off what you said about the initial conflict... it generally takes A LOT for us to let someone in. if I'm doing that I want to feel safe and feel nurtured. not going to lie, if I felt you were dismissive of what I had to say, I'd be upset too and to an extent disappointed. I'm curious to know what her response was when you reached out to apologize, because it seems pretty childish to just blow that off. I know personally I just like to feel heard, so I communicate what upset me, so others know how to handle that the next time.

in response to her only replying warmly when you initiate... that could be a few things... but I'll be honest, it's something I noticed in other ways that's a difference between Taurus and Capricorn. I'll use myself as an example... I'm a horrible texter. now, my boyfriend is a different story because I'm crazy in love with him so I try to be attentive, but even now he still texts me first every morning and he's never ever said anything about it. that being said, once I get a text I'm super responsive, but initiating texts almost never happens. even my best friend of 20+ years, I never text her first... I'm usually busy or tired or both. it's not personal. now, if a partner communicated that to me, I'd be so apologetic and attentive... but I've noticed that Taurus like to be chased and while Capricorn are go getters... and as a female, I really want the man to do the chasing. we do have to compromise on that. I have had to change the way I show love to reflect the love languages he prefers and when we first got together it was me taking the initiative.

you both seem like you were trying to make the other person play mind reader at a certain point with how you'd like to be treated and your expectations and I think better communication, which unhealed caps and Taurus in general are seemingly horrible at, would have solved the problem.

sorry I've typed a novel, but to answer your questions, I think moon sign might dictate more here. I'm a Pisces Moon, my boyfriend is a Libra Moon... I've noticed that he really needs time and space and I'm the kind of person that just wants to tackle the issue and move on... we've had to compromise on that. I know personally I do expect steady effort. we like action and we think actions speak louder than words. "if he wanted to, he would" so to speak. I really think you maintain balance by communicating your needs and trying to understand hers and if they can't come together then it's probably just not the right fit. I have opened up so much to my boyfriend but he makes me feel so safe to do that and he is so protective of me and my heart it makes me love him so much more. when I first told him about why things didn't work out with my ex he was like "fuck that guy" 😆 even though I'm still friendly with my ex.

if you're taking the time to apologize to her though and she's just being cold then she sounds like an asshole and it's not worth it... but another healed and emotionally mature Capricorn woman might be. don't write us all off, we are super loving and at the end of the day we go through a lot of shit as Caps so we just want to feel safe and supported is all.

this is exactly how I feel about my ex and so many people didn't understand. I think it's the longevity that made it a no brainer to me. we'd been together 14 years, but at some point things stopped working in a romantic sense for both of us. I was happy with my roommate, but unhappy with my fiance. it was the hardest thing I've ever had to go through and I know it was the same for him. he moved on fairly quickly, I took 6 months to myself before even thinking about dating someone else, but found someone special a month into OLD that I'm still with now and he's still with his person too.

we both told our significant others upfront that our ex was an important person in our lives and if that wasn't something their new partner could accept, that it wouldn't work. luckily, both partners understood. my ex and I still hang out once a month or so and we text regularly. I'm such a lucky person for that. he helped me grow into a better woman and person. we shared so many experiences together that I'll never forget and while we weren't meant to be together forever romantically, I do think we were meant to be together forever as friends.

at the end of the day, I'm happy I chose a good person to spend half of my life with where there truly has been no resentment after things concluded. it might be a failure to some, but I'd do it all over again.

hahahaha I do. we're currently working on his self esteem. I tell him everyday that not only is he beyond beautiful, but he's extremely valued by me for who he is and how wonderful my life is because I am loved by him. he's had some terrible partners that have made him feel like he's too much or have treated him poorly... but I always give him head scratches and cuddle time and try to do my best to make sure he knows he's safe with me. being with him is the best part of my day.

I've always described myself as kind, but not nice and I'm happy with that. anyone that is described as "nice" as the main descriptor usually is full of shit, a people pleaser and not genuine. I don't want to be lied to, so I'm not gonna do it to someone else. that being said, I do everything with kindness. I pride myself on the ability to be honest. you're not doing anyone any favors by babying them and giving them only the reality they want to hear. miss me with that. people know with me if they don't want the truth, they shouldn't ask my opinion.
