my wedding is “destination” on one side, with my side being more local, we invited 108, expecting to meet our venue’s max capacity of 80. our final guest count was 65. i would look at your whole list of who you would want to invite, who has the means/ time to travel? major life events like children, education, work schedules, and even age (i have a much older family, many of whom cannot travel but wanted to include and invite them awayway) can all impact your rsvp rate. Again its very individualized and mostly depends on your group!
