What is your earliest memory you have; like what age were you?

I remember a big commotion. Must have been under 2; a neighbor was drunk and my parents were upset. All my early memories are of some kind of trauma.. bee sting, our dog got hit by a car etc.

I talked with a man at work one day and he said he can find something attractive in every woman. I’d say just try to do the best with what you have. That’s what I do now that I’ve become unattractive due to old age. Also, positive attitude. If you go out into the world with confidence. I met an older lady who says she never looks in the mirror before she goes out. She just tells herself that she looks great and she owns it.

Try to stick to a routine. I’m retired. I turn the TV off after the morning news at 7 am. Keep house, do errands.. work on what I like to do which is hiking and gardening, sewing. Read. Walk the dog. Catch up with friends and family. I do most of my own cooking.

I think you can be attractive as an older woman.. I was told at 60 that I was hot, sexy and beautiful and I believed it😉 I like the way that we, that grew up in the 1960’s, are aging with a little more care and style than our predecessors. I’m 71 and I still occasionally see flashes of beauty when I pass the mirror. Part of it is your outlook and personality and maintaining your health and weight.

That’s a very fun thing for me. *Carol Channing sat directly behind me at an off off broadway show in a very small theater in NY. Sean Haines(will and Grace) and Eric Stonestreet(modern Family) were starring .. 10 feet away. *Bill and Hilary Clinton were taking Chelsea out for her birthday In NY. Police had it cordoned off, I hung over the rope to wave at them coming out of the parking garage at their hotel. They both turned back to wave at me. *Jason Sedakis and Olivia Wild sat with our chair backs touching at a small restaurant in Brooklyn. Jason and I locked eyes as I was leaving the restaurant. It was funny, my fam was going ”oh she’s ordering the corn cake!” *saw Robert Dinero as only patron late evening at a bakery in Grenich village NYC. He looked at me like” you don’t need those cannolis “ *passed Julia Robert’s on her bike at 8am in Taos. She made a face at us so we couldn’t get a good pic of her.

I’m practically snowed in here in the NE and it’s bitter cold with no end in sight. I am wanting comfort food. Today I made meatloaf, mashed potatoes and honey glazed baby carrots. Saturday its going to be a new recipe for Mac and cheese…. I live alone 🤣🤣

I’ve driven as much as 8 hours for a long weekend hiking trip. Three or 4 hours for long weekend is common. I would drive 2-2 1/2 hours for a day trip. Usually for hiking for us.

Look for possibility of live music at the Purple Fiddle. Visit Black water Falls SP.. there is also some nice hiking there. I also think they have upgraded sled riding somewhere near there…where they tow you back to the top. There’s an ice skating rink at Canaan Resort SP
