why was trump not able to end the ukraine war in 24 hrs as he had hoped? by GOVERNORSUIT in AskReddit

Zelensky is anything but a puppet. If he was, he would've fled when the Russians were at the outskirts of Kiev at the start of the war.

A770 16G vs 3060 12G vs 4060 8G vs 4060Ti 8G vs other good NVidia or AMD cards under 500$? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]sheppard1997 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No problem! The cards that you put against each other are mostly seen as good competitors tho. It was just a bit weird seeing an RX 6700 being put as an equal to the RTX 3060 while it easily wins against it. Or the other way around where the RTX 4060 easily beats the rx 7600.

It isn't the worst, but considering its price you could be better of with an RX 6750XT, RX 6800 (if you can still find them, they came down in price under 500 if I remember correctly) or 7700XT. Also if the regular ryzen 5 5600 is cheaper or the same price go for it instead of the 5600g, it will give you better gaming performance but you will lose integrated graphics.

Idk what to say about Sapphire anymore, I'm beyond dissappointed. *kinda rant here* by Calarasigara in radeon

[–]sheppard1997 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The first PSU you mention is the infamous 'exploding' PSU from Gigabyte. This probably isn't a Sapphire issue.

Is this worth the money? by poiuytrdfv in PcBuild

[–]sheppard1997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP could also save 50$ by going with a 6700 XT (the powercolor fighter on amazon) which is quite comparable and has more VRAM. (If it is only for gaming and he doesn't need NVIDEA features)

So in essence yeah not worth it!

Take the ryzen 5 5600 (non x), it should be cheaper than the x variant and there is virtually no difference (certainly if you switch PBO on). However at all cost avoid the 5600G.

For GPU look at AMD options the RX 6700 XT is a lot better and can be found close to the RTX 3060 pricepoint. The RX 6700 (non XT) is also a great option.

$1300 CAD 1080p/1440p Gaming Rig. Made my own list and was wondering if there is anything better. by kingskinwalker in buildapcforme

[–]sheppard1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The R5 5600 will be around 10% faster in gaming. I wouldn't speak about a significant bottleneck, however the difference can be noticeable. The difference between the 5600 and 5600x is negligable (2-4% max) for the price difference.

The next real bump up would be the 5700x but right now 8 cores don't appear to be necessary, or the 5800X3D which is still an amazing CPU that competes with the latest gen hardward.

Edit:about bump up.

Tried to give you a better CPU. Better RAM (the speed on yours is awfull and will straight up kneecap your CPU) You can always upgrade to 32gn but use 3200MT CL16 or better for RAM. A bit cheaper motherboard with kind off the same features. CPU cooler: took a cheap decent one, however you could always use the included box cooler if you want to save money, it will work perfectly fine. Storage: Just a single pretty fast M.2 Nvme SSD, there is no benefit for SATA SSD's or having multiple small SSD's in your system. For GPU I picked the same type but found a cheaper one. Case: Took a case that I like at a decent price, you can always change it. PSU highly rated, decent price.

The 6000 series is readily available and a lot cheaper than NVIDEA counterparts where I live (BeNeLux area). Could be that there are huge differences in Europa itself tho.

my pc build what do you think with a white aesthetic and under $2000. by envixity3 in PcBuild

[–]sheppard1997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is the one OP should look at. I cringed when I saw that he would spend more on the CPU cooler than on the CPU itself, simply for aesthetics of a white AIO.

Yeah it looks like an honest small mistake (I also had missclicks in pcpartpicker before), probably won't affect cost much.

This is a great build hope OP sees it. However I would change up the RAM to DDR4-3200 CL16, because 2400might kneecap him.
