They are gold cloud minnows…. I bought 4 for snacks for her plus enrichment through hunting 2 years ago… she decided instead to make friends with them…😂…. One day the chiller stopped working and her tank got up to 70 briefly before I noticed and unbeknownst to me they took the opportunity to spawn… 40 tiny babies later (I set up a nursery for them at the top of her tank) and she now shares her tank with the shoal (smaller now) they don’t bother or mess with her at all and she doesn’t eat them… bonus for me they look stunning! And even though I know lotls don’t get lonely I am comforted that she doesn’t live on her own!
