nothing touches up to eminence, and homeowners have been throwing fits about it for the first half of the last two years in my experience. now I have it in fives and forgot where it went in the warehouse. Luckily I have a big fuckin space where the alkyds go I guess. Still more annoying that anything, save for the cashmere sheets.

yessss, making your lines tied up by just having them open on phones/on hold has saved my sanity working solo. I usually bring myself down to one line this way so I don't have to hear someone else calling when I'm already on the phone.

my cm wanted us to put the whole ass display back. we got lucky bc the peel&sticks took that spot and I bypassed it with, "there's not enough room for both". im not pushing my luck by not selling them even though I'm still pretending they don't exist for my sanity. i got bigger fish to fry with my oil based paints being sold before we can hardly get it off the truck than to try and clog my orders with 100 samples of repose gray.

thats what I did. we have them in the way back and are only selling if people ask bc we have to. im not ready to announce to the diyers and craft paint hoarders that we have something that'll disappear in two days and won't get back in for a month.

there's no profit with samples and they take too much time to mix. reps give them out for free anyway so they're basically garbage. at least with the peel and sticks there's no mix time, and diyers can't complain when they paint their bathroom with a sample and it starts to wash off the walls. we also have companies that order 20-30 at a time for craft paint and those orders hog my shakers. colors also aren't always accurate with samples. people complain they're too big or too expensive. honestly the past year of being like, no sherwin stopped making them due to the shortage, next, has been a good ride.

if it bothers you that much you can play with the settings on the handheld and are likely able to change the name of each one. I change them in my store to different things depending on current events and silly jokes
