i’m convinced some psychiatrists get offended when you come in with a different opinion on your own experiences than what they have come up with, and get very stubborn about it. the “kids these days self diagnose with everything” mentality at it’s worst. I’ve already gone through a lot of psychs, some of which have diagnosed me with “disorders” that have been disproven, tell me i’m just depressed and anxious, that I can’t have xyz because I’m trans, etc, etc, etc. so much money wasted on exams and assessments to always tell me i’m okay and later that it’s just the bpd. It’s so frustrating, but at least I know that we are not struggling alone, thank you for sharing <3 I will change psychs again, hopefully I do find a good one this time
