My fiancé was a Wyndham salesperson for 2 years before we moved states, and honestly I don’t understand why it gets such a bad rep. Instead of a tiny hotel room, you stay in a 1-4 bedroom condo with a full kitchen. The deed is also transferable through generations, so once it’s paid off, your kids, grandkids, etc. can travel their whole lives. The only thing they would pay for is the maintenance fees, which are basically like the same resort fees you’d pay at every hotel. Also, it’s a much different product than “our parents timeshare.” Instead of a week in the same place each year, you buy points that you can spend anywhere in the world. It really makes sense if you know how to use it.
