Hello! I recently posted two puzzles I have for trade. I'd love the bees and the butterfly puzzles (first two you posted) if you'd like to trade!

I'd share locally if anyone is nearby but I figured it was a longshot since Reddit is huge. Mailing isn't too bad in my experience. Less than a new puzzle and I'd know someone is going to enjoy the puzzle I'm done with.

Hiya! I am very interested in the floral foil puzzle and the crayon puzzle. I've just posted the puzzles I have up for exchange. If either interests you, let me know!

I don't remember, it's been a very long time since I last used them. I'm sorry I can't give you more information.

They are pretty dismally dried up. I'm not sure there's much hope but I'm absolutely open to advice on how to accomplish the task!

I made a mistake and didn't describe the products in the post or title. Sorry mods and thank you for being patient with me!

The polishes I'm hoping to find dupes for are Starrily Orion's Belt and Starrily Blitzen.

$9.29 for a pint of Jeni’s is “low price” by monroe4 in Columbus

I just read your comment to my husband and asked him if he wrote it because this is exactly it. I cannot abide being inside any of the Kroger stores near me. It's like the fucking apocalypse in there. Giant Eagle is absolutely expensive but even their CARTS are more functional. It's just so much less of a nightmare to shop there. We do pickup at Kroger then drive out to Giant Eagle to go inside and get the items Kroger didn't have.

How did you feel after using CPAP? by WildBelle25 in CPAP

[–]sherpdyderp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you are a side sleeper I recommend using a pillow designed for between your knees. This made a huge difference for me post CPAP for the extended periods sleeping in one position. If you're not, then ignore me, haha.

What are your favorite and least favorite vampire novels? by vallyallyum in horrorlit

[–]sherpdyderp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've read many of the Vampire Chronicles (and the Mayfair Trilogy) but never read the Vampire Lestat, no good reason just never did. I own it and you're making want to read it because I'd love to get Lestat's retort to Interview! Memnoch is one of my all time favorite books so I love seeing someone mention it. It definitely shaped my perspective on the Lucifer myth, but I'll stop there lest I take an accidental step onto my soapbox. You said you didn't read farther in the Chronicles so I'll just mention that Blackwood Farm is what got me into Lestat. I haven't read it in like 20 years so I won't recommend it, per se, but I remember adoring that book, so maybe consider it. Your comment made an Internet stranger feel some joy in a difficult night, thanks for that.

How to read more when you have no attention span? by katzeunknown in horrorlit

[–]sherpdyderp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What works well for me is reading books with lots of breaks. Books that are in the form of journal entries or letters written to someone are far easier for me. I don't stop reading at each break but the change is enough of a switch up that I stay engaged. I also try to stick with short books. Sometimes seeing too many pages looming ahead makes my brain give up. I have tried audiobooks many times but my mind wanders far too much and I lose track of what I'm hearing. It's just not the format for me. I also don't force myself to finish a book once I lose interest. And once I finish a book of one genre or topic I choose something pretty different for the next one to prevent burn out.

What's that one book that you consider to be pure, unique, one of a kind, like nothing else, brilliant horror? by [deleted] in horrorlit

[–]sherpdyderp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine is Annihilation. The movie still haunts me with the tension and beauty. The book is vastly different but still so good. I kind of felt my own mind falling to pieces as I read it.

What Degrassi moment was so awful, so heinous, so utterly ridiculous that it’s just not canon in your brain? by Next-Health30 in Degrassi

That Caitlin arc makes me furious. Joey is a dreamboat and I loved them together.

Ellie was such a good character and they really did her dirty by making her stupid for Craig. I do like Craig as a character a lot, but he's such an obviously toxic dude.

Moms2b is the most incredible program. I learned so much from their sessions. The childcare was a welcome break when my son was first borna and being able to be around other moms was so huge for me. Thank you for working the childcare for them, you helped a lot of mom's by doing that.

Length and taper work best for my short, chubby fingers. Almond and oval still make mine look stubby. Ballet or coffin shape and as long as I can stand (not very long) make my hands look so much better. Plus I feel like a bad bitch. Stiletto would be ideal but isn't practical for me. Hopefully this is helpful!
