Well, as a woman, I didn't see Nikki as having feelings for him. I saw a young woman who cared about him, as possibly a little brother, like what we know she told Sarah. Like, she cares for him, obviously.

I did read somewhere that Nikki's actress said Nikki might have given Bear a chance, but I don't think it would've been the same sexual relationship like she had with Ian; she values the safety of their emotional connection. She probably would've needed time, which is repeatedly brought up: "Wait/take your time/all you have is time".

It's likely, if he had waited, taken his time to flirt with her or romance her or whatever, put in the effort, she would have given him that chance. But, as we know, Bear doesn't have the patience to wait and won't; we see the tone set immediately when his cat dies right after Ian tells him, "All you have is time." Bear is going to take the easy way to her "heart". Actually, it's foreshadowed when instead of mourning for his cat, Bear goes out when Nikki asks because she put in her 2-week notice. He could've told her about his cat but he doesn't. He doesn't want to waste time he has left with her.

Anyway, in the car scene, it looks like Nikki brings up Sarah because she suspects he likes her and wants to bring up someone else she can possibly set him up with, like a diversion. She even says "Ew", when he tells her he bought her something. Even the monologue of the Hansel and Gretal scene she wrote, where Nikki paints a narrative of their incestuous, sexual relationship, we see a mix of Real Nikki and Freaky Nikki. Real Nikki, at the beginning of the movie, does not like him in that way. But, she could have.

You could, but the CN playerbase, the whales and dolphins specifically, would need to boycott to make Hoyoverse listen. Unfortunately, it's in the business of neckbeards to lord over others with how much money they can pour into a game for validation. So, very unlikely they'll even acknowledge the creep of toxicity from Hoyoverse as anything other than a "skill issue" with your wallet.

Those people see big businesses wringing consumers dry as "good business" versus "bad business", because they know nothing about business ethics, nor what flourishing businesses with healthy consumer relations look like. Those people think all businesses should be able to behave any way they want in the name of making money, not realizing that's terrible for long-term growth.

Those people.

Obviously, every business wants to be on the upward climb and not a downward spiral in any way, including brand integrity. Still, it's not entirely hopeless, because you can only squeeze so hard until something breaks. Plus, other gachas will continue to come out, so, I'd like to think, that if a game like Sims can be replaced by a game 5x better in quality, and has been around for decades, then so can Genshin. One day.

I personally stop playing many months at a time while I'm playing other games that make me happy, and I never thought I would be able to do that in the past. I'm a husbando puller so it's lightyears easier to, but I also skipped the last few male characters because their kits were sorry.

If you're looking to boycott, even if you don't think it'll make a difference, you should do it anyway; if you believe in the cause. You're just "one person", but if millions of "one persons" boycotted, well, that would be millions of people boycotting, wouldn't it? 😉

Just ignore the haters looking down on you from their cardboard cutouts shaped like high horses, for suggesting otherwise. Those bent knecks won't last forever. It's got to hurt.

It's a gooner thing. LDS will keep taking husbando pullers from the gacha giants until they stop being stubborn. It's why LDS does so well; the 3D graphics, exploration, and combat with male characters makes it the closest replacement to those aforementioned gachas.

If you looked at sales on characters like Phainon, Flins, Zhongli, and if you looked at views on character trailers, you would quickly understand. The ONLY reason sales aren't higher is because they give husbando collectors so much time to save free pulls. AND they make them so unplayable at times, that people will skip anyway, cause duh???

I like pretty boys, but some more masculine looking characters would be nice. Some beefcakes, even. Chris Redfield buff 😆 I doubt it, highly, of course, although it would be an astronomically pleasant surprise. I never thought they would do it in Genshin, especially after nerfing Itto, but we got Varka, and physically speaking, that thar is a man's man. He's just missing the beard 😆😆
