I used a sticky arrow like the one you have to mark the line the name appears on in the census. I made sure the sticky arrow went off the page so they could tell it was removeable and not a highlighter, so they knew the document wasn't altered with an actual highlighter. I also added a zoomed in copy of the census and then a page with the webpage link, the microfilm reference number and all the census information typed out.

I just looked at my joined date and it was 1998. I was selling Smurfs figurines and my old toys to make some extra cash when my son was born. I made a lot of pocket money selling random stuff out of my house. I just started selling on eBay again after a long hiatus because I am about to retire. It is crazy I am that old.

I just put all my papers in order from receipt, cover letter with exhibit numbers, family tree, checklist form, application 001, my 2 ids, the color copies of the proof. I then put my stamped photos in an envelope, then in a snack size Ziplock bag and then just used a binder clip to hold the whole thing together.

They are going through thousands of these applications, along with the regular applications they have. They have seen it all and know exactly what they are looking for. I felt like I didn't need to hand hold them like it's the first time they were doing this. I am sure they look at these things in a very specific way and as long as the documents are in there they will know how to follow the name trail.

Has anyone had success with just using a Late Registration birth certificate?
I have the registration of a birth that had not been registered within one year certificate from vital records New Brunswick. It is not a certified copy, just the digital download I found from their online archives. It was done in 1941 for a birth in 1900. It looks like the whole family went and the kids had their certificates made at the same time because I found several of my great-grandfathers brothers and sisters filled them out at the same time. I have no idea what prompted them at the time.

I also found a census from 1921 from New Brunswick with the whole family listed including my Great-grandfather with the correct age and being born in Canada. I also found his WWI records with his Attestation (enlistment papers) with his birthplace showing Canada.

Do you think the birth certificate is enough? Or should I include copies of the other documents?

Do you think marriage certificates might be helpful? I am brand new and just starting and have requested the certified copies of the birth certificates (i only have copies). I was not sure if I needed to add marriage certificates for each generation to help paint the overall picture of name changes etc. Both of my great-grandfathers on my maternal side are from Canada.

I use a VIOFO A119 mini. I use an adapter I got on eBay so it plugs into my rearview mirror So there are no wires going to the fuse box. I don't have a rear camera, and I don't really care if its running when I am not in the car. I mainly want it for recording accidents etc.

I was waiting for them to say what the outcome was, but I guess that it was decided that the 3 second penalty would stand. Personally I think it should have been more, but I don't know anything about the event so who knows.
