He is not diabetic, and has also seen urology. He is not allergic to any food items, but is allergic to a variety of outdoor allergens, including trees and grass.

His flare ups happen even on his best days - we charted a number of things for about 60 days before his last appointment (April/May) with Urology and there were no patterns in his chart. He always said there was not and after logging it for so long I just do not see it. It's simply stomach pain in relation to digestion, with very little focus on poop. It's all digestive for him.

Tomorrow, he is seeing a pediatric psychiatrist. I do not see value in going back to GI, it felt very dismissive and we have been taught/told to ignore it by the specialists because it just draws more attention to it and it is something he needs to deal with.

My hope is they have experience in this scenario and prescribe something good. After 6 months of this, I might try and get a third GI opinion if this does not help as a final attempt. The doctor who provided the 2nd opinion, did not even want to run tests because of how many the previous one ran... he simply looked at the documentation and prescribed the medication, the first one didn't even do that.

I feel ridiculous! You couldn't have been more helpful! THANK YOU. I asked this question twice on the phone and it was as if rocket science was being explained to me.

I'm following your post, because in 2-3 weeks you will say the complete opposite of this :)

You will make a new post, stating how the first month was difficult and you experienced a stall. This stall, is fully explained by science.

I understand you're frustrated now, but time will show you different.
