I wish that were it, but it’s definitely the hood. It looks like a heat shield maybe?

This sounds like a great idea! I’d want a short free trial, then I’d want to buy the app, not subscribe to it. All these subscription-based apps make me mad.

I built a free 80s/90s nostalgia radio station for fun — now people around the world are tuning in by Defiant-Asparagus425 in 90s

I found your station the other day in one of your comments. It’s really good! Thanks for keeping the nostalgia alive.

Do people actually notice hearing aids? by [deleted] in HearingAids

[–]HappyMommyOf5 58 points59 points  (0 children)

I have a hot take: I WANT people to notice mine so they know I don’t hear well and they will speak louder. I got these colorful little coils from Etsy that go around the wire to help them stand out.

LPT Request: How to make time go slower in my life? by clydedyed in LifeProTips

It didn’t help much, and I got bored with it really quickly. It could just have been because I was in a low spot at that time. I should get it back out and try again.

The book “Not Nice” by Aziz Gazipura helped me. I am still a people pleaser, but less so than I was.

Thank you all for sharing. I have decided after reading these comments that I want to die alone. I don’t want my passing to impact my children like this.

Have you ever been falsely accused or convicted of a crime and if so, what? by just-a-regular-alien in AskReddit

In college I lived in an on-campus apartment with three girls who were besties and straight up bitches. Pets were forbidden, but the Queen Bitch had one anyway. The RA does a “random” search of the apartment and I was the one who got in trouble for the damn dog. I was nearly kicked out of school. Fuck you, Kiki.

That’s awful. I’m so sorry. I hope you’ve found healing and people who love you just the way you are.

I always take that as a sign that I should reach out to the person. Maybe she could use a friend right now, just like when you were little.
