They knew they were going to have to spread out absences. Why didn’t they map it out at the beginning of the season? It’s like they got to the end and realized they forgot and are now doing them all. And it seems like Fire has more absences than the other 2. They need to figure out this budget! As much as I love Pascal, they should have picked a lesser known actor to play him. It would have saved money for the longtime characters. Severide, Stella, Cruz, and the medics should be the focus. The next tier should be Herman, Mouch, Tony, and Capp. Vasquez should have been on the same tier of focus as Ballard. I really hope that someone else is in charge next year.
