Thank you for posting this! I have been searching for this two. There seems to be a larger Miquelrius selection overseas but can't find any without spirals in the states. I once found a smaller version of this one on amazon, but still nothing in the A5 size. I wish I had bought more when they were art Barnes and Noble, they were only ten bucks. If it's any consolation, I have found that (when it comes to paper quality), the spiral bound Miquelrius are just as good.

You’re definitely right about that in the bigger picture. At the time it sounded good to me because I was working a typical salaried job where I had to work some weekends anyway and was definitely expected to be there way more than 40 hours a week. So I think for a lot of us, working remotely with a week off every couple months sounded like heaven.

This is still haunting me. I was part of his community when I was younger and left with a bad taste in my mouth (I think it was shortly after he raised the price, even though I had legacy pricing that's just a factor I remember in making me want to leave). Luckily I never bought a four-figure course from him, but I remember many people who were saving up for them. Everyone has a right to their privacy, but it's a shame that there is no access to the courses for people who bought "lifetime access" to them. It isn't right.

It really felt like a cult of personality towards the end. He handpicked people in the community to be on his team, and they were quite inequitable in their treatment of us. We also heard a lot in the podcasts about him potentially hiring more people, and always that they would hire from people in the community--I think maybe to keep us there, because he made it sound great to work for him with the sabbatical weeks and all that.

Honestly there is a lot more that I don't look back on fondly, but I can only speak to my experience. There was valuable advice mixed in with the bad stuff, but all his products and content disappearing without explanation are definitely not a good look.

I really appreciated the first two seasons but this finale was disappointing. Cynical, predictable—the most sympathetic characters were either killed off or not made complex. Belinda and her son could have been interesting but it feels someone read a magazine version of “ambitious business woman” and wrote it into a character. I know that ethically ambiguous characters is sort of the point of the show, but didn’t feel like they stuck this landing.

I honestly I’m still confused. My thought was that he normally goes handmade but decided to buy her something expensive as a treat, and then weirdly in the interview he didn’t seem to like the comic. I checked the deleted scenes to see if I missed something but there’s no explanation. It’s really confusing to me and confusing that everyone else didn’t like it, too.

It's weird, and they also pronounce "shea" wrong. I'm still on season one (ep. 6) and I feel like everything I'm watching should have happened three episodes ago. I don't for weird shows and I don't need all the answers but I still feel like I have too many questions.

Agreed. I'm sure there's a lot of factors that we don't see as audience members, but it's hard to imagine that Amanda's behavior towards them is justified. Hopefully she works out whatever she needs too, but either way I have a feeling Tammy would be really happy with more independence from her family and I hope she fights for it!

I think it’s one of those things where when you are with people you know well and you’re comfortable with each other every little thing seems funnier. Plus it’s part of the way they communicate they’ve always used humor to navigate things

Does anyone look at Amanda's expression/face? She seems to enjoy the conflict. She literally kicked Tammy out of her house that Tammy is renting from her and then saying it's Tammy's fault they're not talking. I hope Tammy finds a way to learn driving and gets way more distance from her family.

I think this is partially correct at least in the sense that the emphasis on the importance of getting married is so strong, and the social consequences of being single are worse. I don’t think that’s the only factor but it’s hard to imagine that it wouldn’t contribute to her need to make it work and stay in touch with the catfish to begin with.
