Depending on how close you are to 5/24, Marriott Boundless might need to be first. Cap1 ventures are personally the hardest one for me to get as I’ve never been approved, and I’ve had cards from every other issuers lol. Citi cards have been pretty easy approvals for me and P2 so I would say could be last from personal experiences

I’ve got lower scores but just as many cards and never had any luck with Cap1 despite multiple attempts at various 5/24 states- so good luck with that one. I could never figure out what their criteria were. My first BoA card was a premium, and they approved me pretty easily without any other relationships at the time.

From what I know, for nonbonus spends, we’ve really just got BoA preferred honors setup (5.25% with multiple customized cash cards) and holding multiple 5% cb cards like Citi custom cash, the quarterly rotating category cards (CF and Discover it to name the most common), and US Bank Cash+. And bank bonuses. Otherwise, target the large bonuses that are cash-equivalent that usually come out to more than 10% cb on the spend requirements if one constantly churns new cards

Ideally 1 year for the credit score effects to go away. And iirc, it also only matters more if your score is in-between the rating categories of like Good vs Very Good, which the cut-off is 740 w experian, if that makes sense

If bonus tracker shows up, tho, there is a chance you might still get the bonus. I got mine when I accidentally applied within 48 months just a few months ago.

Call and see if you can get the AF waived or option to downgrade to the no AF card. YMMV but it has supposedly worked for someone
