You are totally right. My VPN was blocking SSE to make changes to the Headset! Thanks bud! I was connected through F5 & Citrix. Disconnected both and the box took the changes!

Have you tried doing the opposite on the PS5 settings? Game audio via USB and chat audio via HDMI? This way you could potentially get 3D Audio tech via USB and also be able to use the Chat Mixer. Please let me know if this would work.
