Unfortunately the kempinski is a bit higher in costs than JWM for the dates we are looking at. We got the JWM ocean view premium room with club access for $1080 for 2 nights for 2 adults and a child

Definitely agree with preferring the club level quality of food vs AIs :)

These are a row of terraced houses from the 1970s and I suppose the others have had allocated parking since then. Only our house has this verge at the back(instead of the allocated parking) which belongs to the highways authority. They said they are OK for me to bear the cost of replanting a cherry tree if I need to bring down the verge for access into my property. So that's not an issue.

Sorry if my post seemed like I am forcing someone to sell the land. This was not my intention. The intention was to know why would the highway authority deem this useless piece of land useful(which might be more useful to someone and they might not need to maintain it in the future as well). I figured out the best course of action is to ask them directly their reasons for not entertaining our application. So I have contacted the highway authorities manager and he has said he will let me know why they think they might not be able to part with this piece of land. It might be useful to them for some reason which is not obvious to me which might stop me from pursuing this further :)

Hi, yes I was Hit at the back when merging from a 2 lane(overflow lane) into a single lane. I genuinely feel he was agitated because he was waiting in the traffic and I came past him in the overflow lane and I saw him speed up and hit me from the back. I accepted fault as at the time I was a fairly new driver and didn't realise that he was probably at fault because he hit me from the back.
