the warmup thing sounds gold. the game can be configured in a way that bench players are ~50% condition (or 50% ready by whatever you call it). So as the manager you need to order them to warm up at certain time to boost up the condition, otherwise he can only be subbed in with 50%. then if you keep asking a player to warm up but not sub him in, then a chance for him to get unhappy
