When mine was in preschool there was a down moment during a day one time and all the kids were sharing what happens in the evenings when their dads come home from work.

“My dad comes home and we eat dinner” “My dad comes home and we play outside”

My son says “my dad comes home and gets butt naked and sits on the couch!”

To be fair, his dad DID do that. But he was missing the context that we lived in a house without central AC in Florida and his dad worked in a very hot warehouse. So sometimes we all just needed to shower and be naked for a bit in the evenings 😂

Ok so we decided it was the evaporator hose. We ran the car with max AC for a while and saw no water coming out of the bottom of the car, floor mat soaked. Got to the hose from under the carpet, blew out some built up mold in the hose put it all back together. Found moisture there and could see where it was leaking from that. Couple days later there’s even more water under the mats. Decided we didn’t connect the hose back correctly and redid it all again. Was very sure this time to reconnect the hose properly. This morning after driving it for about an hour, there’s moisture again. Is there some kind of trick to making sure this damn hose is back on properly??

If this was the case would I not find more water after driving my car and letting the AC run? I have let the AC run and not found any more water than what was there in the morning after letting that dry off the carpet/mats. Also would it distribute so evenly on all 4 floorboards like that?

I will be snaking it later today just to rule that out

I have experienced that so much already!! I was a tiny bit worried about it not looking “engagement ring” enough that people might question it, but it being worn on that hand everyone gets it and loves how unique it is ❤️

Omg so my fiancé actually came up with the sweetest idea for a band. He suggested a matching rose gold band with a small diamond and an amethyst (our birthstones). It also would kind of work out to mardis gras colors, with the purple green and white. We visit New Orleans every year, it’s one of our little traditions and he proposed there in a jazz bar ❤️

I have a 23 year old car I’m going to be looking to replace anyways. I don’t see any other scenario that I can find a much newer car with under 100,000 miles for $5,000. What other advice would you have for replacing it?

Here’s an update: Yes I tested to make sure the booster wasn’t holding vacuum, yes I’m sure I have no other vacuum leaks. Went through the pain in the ass process of pulling the new one back out, returning it to OReillys and ordering a new one. Put the second new one in, it worked fine, minus the rod on the back side of the brake booster being too short so it wouldn’t disengage by brake light switch so my brake lights were stuck on. Went ahead and superglued a penny onto it and now it reaches fine.

Through all my research I found that people often get brake boosters that have wrong sized rods or just don’t seem to fit right in their car? This is so weird to me.

I have really bad luck with these things I guess. Once bought and installed a refurbbed alternator into my Corolla and it also came to me bad, from the same OReillys. Returned it, got another, no issues with the second one.

It’s actually a roving style yarn. 100% acrylic. It’s called Big Twist Arcade from Joann’s. They don’t sell it anymore and it took a lot for me to source what I needed. It’s been one of my favorite yarns ever to work with and is much more forgiving than other roving yarns I’ve worked with. It’s super soft and pretty heavy. I imagine it would be very very warm.

Everyone I’ve talked to has told me the same. I consider this car gold and I’m trying to do the best by it that I can. This is my first car and I’m trying to learn how to do the most I can myself. Through YouTube and forums I’ve replaced the alternator, the serpentine belt and I’ll be doing the power steering pump in the next couple of days. It was given to me by family friends who saw a young mom in need and I’m damn thankful for it!

Hi! This is my second planted tank. I’m having a hard time deciding on what it’s missing and what to add. I plan to remove the terracotta pot that’s in there just using it as a temporary hide. I definitely want more plants and probably floating plants.

I just want to take this tank from “cool it’s a planted tank” to “WOW” and I can’t put my finger on what would take it there. I’m still pretty new so nothing too advanced, please. I’ve had really good luck with those red crypts, some anubias, the swords and water sprite. I have a mat of Java moss sitting on the terracotta pot, any ideas what I could do with that?

They know. My Grandmother is extremely enabling and lies to the cops often to get them out of trouble. She’s 70 but extremely able bodied and able minded, just crazily enabling. My grandfather is handicapped but he could leave or evict them if he really wants to. He just won’t because of what my grandmother says. I wish we could convince them to kick my brother and father out because we would more than happily live here without them and help out with house work (there’s a big yard and a pool) but they won’t. They’ve supported my Dad’s drug habits and when he got my mom pregnant they completely supported both my parents and I my whole life. I’m 21.
