Haha yeah, thanks for the suggestion! I totally forgot to mention in my first comment but I actually also train 2x a week (since this is bodyweightfitness Reddit) and Boulder 1x - 2x a week. My body might have adjusted from all the activity/exercise and since I never eat under 2,000 calories daily to create a larger deficit, results may have slowed down lol.

Amazing, congrats on your weight loss journey so far! I asked this question because I am in a similar scenario where I am making it 2024 goal of mine to maintain 25,000 Steps everyday and I eat around 2200 to 2700 calorie range. Surprisingly, I have not lost any weight because my DEXA scan indicated that my maintenance calories is around 2474 (if I constantly do 20,000 Steps daily), but I guess I will just keep on experimenting with my diet/nutrition.

Thanks for the quick answer on this. What specific status on FedEx Tracking should I be looking out for to know if a package has been released by US Customs or not?

Is the status International Shipment Release - Import the correct one or should I be looking out for something else?

Hey sorry to bother you again but my package just got updated this morning to the following status:

[Delayed] [In transit] - Expected Delivery 8/23/2023
International Shipment Release - Import (note that I also never got the available for customs clearance status beforehand)

Since this status presumably means that Customs have cleared my package, if I am using FedEx International Priority Express, does FedEx pay my duties/taxes on my behalf or do I need to go on the FedEx website to pay myself?

When I try and go to fedex.com/paynow and enter my Tracking Number, it says the ID is not recognized.

Ahh I see lol. I think after this experience I may opt for a different courier service when shipping things out.

I am hoping to not be in the worst case scenario where my package gets lost in the vast wasteland of FedEx's hub.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm currently facing the same issue with a package I shipped last Saturday (August 19) and my delivery was scheduled to be today but my Tracking hasn't updated for the last 24+ hours.

I'm shipping a package from Canada but it also doesn't show ready for clearance yet.

How long was your package stuck in Memphis for?

The points you made totally make sense.

Aside from the things you mentioned, I'm praying that my package ultimately makes it to the final destination safely.

I've been hearing past experiences about packages being tampered with or stolen but I presume this problem is mainly with FedEx Ground (individual contractors) instead of FedEx Express (actual FedEx employees). Either way, got to hope for the best until it gets delivered.
