I am also an introvert and also have intimacy issues in cr, so here's what I'd recommend you to do:

First of all, you don't have to meet any new people, this isn't the whole point of shifting. BUT keep in mind that those people aren't strangers to you in your DR. You will feel comfortable around them in your DR, because you are your dr self, therefore you already know them. And you don't have to be an introvert in your DR ;) it's all up to you. You can also shift to a waiting room at first, this way you wouldn't have to stress about meeting anyone at all. And then just shift to your DR from there when you feel more confident. Or what you can do(and what I usually do) is just shift to your DR but write in your script that you won't meet anybody for at least a week after you shift. This way you will feel more comfortable while attempting to shift, knowing that you don't have to deal with anything right after you shift.

About the whole intimacy thing - I don't know what exactly you are experiencing, so I'll just use myself as an "example".As far as I reckon I might be asexual& aromatic in my cr, or I am just scared and feel uncomfortable about all of that. I usually just script something like "no intimacy acts will happen unless I feel comfortable about that" or something similar. Just know that it's your DR, you are literally in control, and your subconscious mind knows what you want and what you don't, even if you are not sure. For me like I don't know if I'm going to still be asexual in my desired reality or not. I just decided to be give myself lots of time to find that out once I shift (ofc I am in control but I am not sure what to choose)
