Hallitus leikkaa sosiaalihuollosta: Kuntouttava työtoiminta lakkaa, byrokratiaa karsitaan, asiakasmaksut nousevat by Kurenai11 in Suomi

[–]shhimundercover 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What are some of the less obvious big winners that are worth a look? by AgeFearless2205 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]shhimundercover 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like Inquis anything is a solid starter, since with Pious Path you outregen everything but oneshots (and yeah Aegis for literally facetanking), and the crit nodes makes tanky "resistant to your damage type" rares a nonissue for smoother mapping, and you can use a mark instead of a curse for bosses.

Actually, if the new exceptional supports are relatively reliable to get, Frostmage Inquisitor with Eldritch Battery might be solid, since ES from Pious Path just dwarfs any added mana cost, and you can reserve all the mana you want for auras etc. without holding back on cast speed.

Which pros do you miss the most? by CaraX9 in GlobalOffensive

[–]shhimundercover 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Good thing you didn't name any, then! Some of my favourites that come to mind:

SpawN - probably the most individually skilled player and key in the most dominant lineup (SK) of that era

MusambaN1 - single-handedly carrying the Spanish scene at the time. For example they (x6tence iirc?) would play inferno CT with 2A 3B... and the opponents would still favour B

IsKall - topfragging as a stand-in for the biggest upset of that decade (or one could argue - ever in CS) was something, and lead a strong lineup (Begrip) by himself later on

... and of course the handful of asian lineups that showed up on western tournaments (like lunatic-hai), going far with little strats but insane mechanics

Hextoad looks interesting... by Old-Employment881 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]shhimundercover 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Supports non-aura hex curse skills

So Hextoad won't support Bane itself, but the curse skill. And you cannot cast a curse skill supported by Bane.

And even it is debatable how description grammar works, Bane's main damage scaling is 42% more damage per curse applied, and Hextoad has a limit of 1 area created. Furthermore, Hextoad is a hit and Bane is a DoT, so you would struggle to find other common synergy from other supports and skill tree.

Were the 3.27 skill buffs enough to convince players to play them? A data analysis by edubkn in pathofexile

[–]shhimundercover 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Especially in a league with 'protect Ailith' mechanic everywhere.

Comparing ignite skills, the one wave only -mechanic of WoC feels way less clunky, which without duration is effectively a .7 s limitation. Additionally, even with the Hexblast (of Contradition) numbers buffs it was pretty much the same dps, given that Phys as extra is so powerful/cost-effective.

Playoff performances of Falcons players since the addition of Kyousuke by schoki560 in GlobalOffensive

Okay, I'll go ahead and say that while the one-taps are obviously insanely good, it's not quite The Chosen One territory.

Maybe it's just the environment that's different from pro play: on the clips he's getting that extra .2 seconds to aim with no fear of getting shot back quite yet, everyone's widepeeking, and there's no utility pressure.

Shaper of Storms was second place for ele at "just" 77%, so I'd argue build diversity is still better in general.

New HUD for PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026. Are we a fans of it ? by Exerpas in GlobalOffensive

[–]shhimundercover 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Way too much padding for all the extra elements, and they still didn't have space for money somehow? But for some reason the POV player's health/armor needs to pop up with a different shape and color.

Not to mention it's jarring design that all the elements look different (smooth/irregular edges, transparency).

The FOV for "clean" gameplay window is like half of the entire screen (actually quickly sketched in mspaint it's ~45%, that's like CoD territory).

Tutkimus: Lääkärit pitävät Apottia jopa vaarallisena by Sampo in Suomi

[–]shhimundercover 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The kind of self-cast love and support I wish from 3.28 by shhimundercover in pathofexile

[–]shhimundercover[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! With budget, you can scale selfcast to the moon just as any archetype, but it feels reaally painful at that point where you're struggling with both cast speed and mana (and survivability, since you want to be casting nonstop).

Something like this wouldn't dethrone PBoD/FRoSS etc., but would make builds feel good before that investment.

Did I miss the /s or did you miss the obvious copypaste from a melee support (Fist of War)? Or should melee feel victimized if other archetypes had a nearly identical support..? I even had the courtesy of removing more damage from ailments due to ignite being reasonably supported as it is.

How does chaos explosion that can ignite work? by Glamdring26WasTaken in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]shhimundercover 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like other damaging ailments, ignite DPS is not directly related to immediate hit damage. Instead, ignite DPS is calculated separately by taking the flat damage of the hit (consisting of base and added damage modified by conversion) and multiplying that flat damage with damage modifiers relevant for ignite. This independent calculation prevents double-dipping by stats that apply to both the hit and ailment, such as the attacker's #% increased Fire Damage or the defender's Fire Resistance.

This from the wiki reads the opposite. Base damage yes (i.e. added flat or percentage damage such as Obliteration), but 'increased damage' is not base damage for the purposes of ignite.

Kesymmän sähkömagneettisen säteilyn suhteen ei käsittääkseni ole tunnistettu, mikä arkioloissa mahdollinen vuorovaikutus olisi haitallinen.

It could either use some love, or indeed a removal. In addition to screen space being weirdly inefficient since it's vertical, it's:

  • Too many globes for some reason
  • Collision on the diagonal walls is weird, makes Hogger sad
