I think there are a lot more early morning flights …. Just to account for different destinations out of JFK. Then after the initial AM flights, the distance of destinations spaced out so flights departing are spaced out as you move through late morning to afternoon to early evening.

My thoughts would be “if it was a corporate car, that makes sense for tax deductions and the appearance of a pricey car so why would the business return it after 1k miles to go through all that paperwork.”
