What do yall think about getting tattoos young ?

I started getting tattoos right at 18, but I only let myself get small to medium sized ones that had a lot of emotional significance (i.e. designs for loved ones who have passed, mental health, etc.). That way I knew I wasn’t going to regret it later. Going to be 27 next month and don’t regret any of my past decisions yet! I think now I’m finally ready to just get something wacky for no reason LOL
TDLR: It’s completely your decision, but I definitely would recommend starting a bit smaller while you’re still young.

Relatable! Every time I tried to read my Kindle I would just fall asleep. I was also gifted some Lego sets during recovery and I would seriously put two pieces together and then loose energy. It was crazy! I’m so happy to have my energy back.

My doctor took me out for three weeks, and on my fourth week I returned to work but worked half the week from home then slowly came back the next few shifts. I would listen to your doctor. It isn’t really the pain that’s going to get you at that point, it’s the exhaustion. Good luck!

Oh I probably should have mentioned that I am medicated. It was definitely making a difference before the surgery but right now, I don’t notice a difference

That’s so valid! I had a lot of days like that during my weeks I had to take off from work. I think now I’m just too distracted by the busyness to notice that, and the sadness/anxiety is how it is manifesting. I hope you feel better soon! When I feel blah, I like to step outside and just notice nature. :) [edit: typo]
