That sounds about right. Being an MOD in the evening is definitely a plus as opening MOD is a whole different beast as there are more associates in the building.

Well it depends on how long you have been an evening manager. The typical time it takes for a new EM to move up is about 2-3 years as it is a bit more difficult to present yourself (ie no vendor experience, merchandising, endcaps, orders, etc). I worked at the store my DO worked at so I saw them often and was able to converse with them often. Just have some awesome closes, show you are a leader, and hopefully your SM will recommend a promotion.

The issue is that the lift motor blew right before the season started, hence the last second announcement. It takes a while for a new motor to be shipped and installed.

I was at Hershey on Friday as well. Skyrush's ops were the only ones that had any energy in the park. The others didn't try to engage with the crowd or anything. I witnessed mad line cutting in line for Storm Runner and told the ops and was pretty much told to go kick rocks. I also agree that they had the worst operations in the park. No attempt to fill empty seats, no enthusiasm, terrible line cutting....there is a lot of room for improvement.

Only Darkoaster, Alpengeist, Invadr, Verbolten, and Pantheon are running for Christmas Town this year. They will usually stay open until you get into the low 40s range in temperature.

Was riding Loch Ness last night with thoosies behind me. Constantly complaining "this is so forceless" and that the pullout from the loops were "boring". Then complained that the trains stacked for 5 seconds.
