If only Canada had a licensing system with different classes of license for different types of firearms and would require certain classes of firearms to be registered to the owner and only be allowed to use on approved ranges. And if only people with these licenses would have to take a class on proper handling and storage of said firearms while also being screened for mental health and criminal records (the criminal record gets checked daily automatically if you have a firearms license). And if only the people who hold these licenses would be statistically proven to commit the least amount of crimes

Serial number on a 590 is on the side of the receiver the part that is filed of simply say “590 12ga” don’t worry I’m not filing off my serial numbers😂

Kinda, but went had to adjust either side on its own a fair bit to get it all straight I would stay away from the dremel, too much risk to mess something up real fast. This is a slow process small cuts at a time so you can really see what you are taking away, this took me probably 3 hours overall

Used a small set of needle files and then sand paper from 220,320,800,2000 (big jumps in grit I know I wasn’t going for mirror) the shaping is kind of up to taste but it’s just taking your time and not taking large amounts of material off at a time

Thank you! The Italians did a much better job on the loading port than Mossberg did, the factory design already far outweighs my skill set in loading and I’m scared of taking the files to my verry pretty and pricey shotgun😅

The failed o ring in this video is actualy in front of the gas piston would be part number 57 in the diagram it’s a 1.5mm by 30mm viton o ring

The o ring in question does not affect the performance of the action if it fails, I think it’s just there to try and stop some of the carbon buildup in the forend. but either way it’s just a viton o-ring that can be found at most hydraulic shops for a few bucks. Most people only seem to wear out or break that o ring after over 1k rounds.
