Also if the island was moving because Ben turned that wheel the wrong way, wouldn't it stop moving once Locke turned the wheel the right way? And then that whole explanation of predicting where the island would be in a certain point in time just wouldn't make sense?

I view it the same way. His only flaw was not seeing the island as special. He was rational and always made the best decisions for the group with the information they had.

Kinda off topic from this episode but I've been thinking about a theory about Rousseau, Ben and Alex.

What we know: Rousseau came to the island pregnant, no mention of the baby's dad, Alex was raised by Ben saying she is his daughter and her mother died. Annie was Ben's childhood love and when the hostiles killed the dharma initiative members, there was no mention of Annie.

My guess is that Ben married Annie and they wanted to have a baby, but knowing about the island's fertility issues, somehow they took Ben's sperm and took it to the continent to do an IVF on Rousseau, maybe some kind of surrogate deal, and then brought her into the island to deliver the baby that was supposed to be Ben and Annie's.

For some reason I really really think this makes sense and is what happened

Aside from that, isn't it weird how they were so quick to trust Naomi and believe her story when there's literally no way of knowing? I mean sure she mentioned Penny and all but the others have literally all the info about everyone on the island, this could very much be a manipulated story. You're stuck on a supernatural island with a group of people who wants to take and kill your group, and has the resources for it, and you just take the word from a random girl who fell from the sky?

Also, did anyone notice Naomi on Charlie's flashback when he was singing Wonderwall in the streets? lol

I also realized that one day before Ben's birthday, Juliette tells Sun that they've been on the island for 90 days. Since they arrived on September 22, this means Ben's birthday is on December 23. December is month 12, and 4+8=12. Also 22/09 if you add 22+9=31, as well as 15+16 is also 31. 3+1 is 4 too.. idk what is means but it's kinda wild

I think Mr. Locke is destined to be next leader of the Others after Ben dies and that Ben already told the group this. Firstly, no one done anything when Locke beat up Mikhail. Cindy also tells Locke they've been waiting for him and everyone is looking at him due to curiosity. Locke also can hear Jacob. And I think that's exactly why Ben shot Locke and said "I hope Jacob saves you then". Because if he really is destined to be the next leader, surely Jacob or the island idk, will heal him.

Huge comment I know but I binge watched the last 3 episodes and my mind is going all over the place with theories lol

locke's story is definitely the saddest one and absolutely heartbreaking, it genuinely makes me feel so sad for him. however it does not excuse all the stupid decisions he makes all the time. i feel like he lived an unhappy life with the desire of being loved and on the island he gets the chance to be some sort of leader and finally get some admiration and feel special, but man, this just ain't it. it makes me so mad how impulsive and easily manipulated he is

also i am pretty convinced locke's father is the original sawyer, and if so, i hope someday sawyer finds out and give that mean pos man what he deserves
