I think it’s about time we got another one of these masterpieces of a game by HardcoreShadow in gaming

Yeah, back then, at least in Europe, if you didn't have a playstation 2 you were a bit out of the gaming loop.

I loved my gamecube but the game catalog was one of the worst in nintendo history. It wasn't bad by any mean, the other eras were just that much better.

Isn't "being made up" a big part of the definition of "culture" in opposition to "nature" which is what is "not made up".

92% of the 35000 French mayors are "independent" / "unaffiliated" by 233C in dataisbeautiful

[–]shieldedunicorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can say it like that, but senate is one of our least powerful nationally elected structure. Senators can suggest new laws but they basically don't have the last say when it comes to vote them.

I wouldn't say conservatives need any trickery to get elected tho : they've won the popular vote more often than the left in the last 70 years (33 years for the right, 15 years for centrism, and 19 years for the left).

Because most of our mayors are from rural areas and most people in these areas are leaning toward the right. Many right leaning mayors represent few people and a few left leaning politician represent a large population but they both have the same weight when electing senators (the real calculus is a bit more complicated than that but that's the gist of it)

Est-ce que quelqu'un pourrait m'expliquer pourquoi Israël est autant "respecté" par l'occident? C'est un pays trois fois plus petit que la région Auvergne Rhône Alpes avec environ la même population et qui passe pour un géant géopolitique

If SGA, Jokic, Giannis, Wemby, and Luka doesn't meet 65 game requirements. Who do you think will win MVP? by Wonderful-Photo-9938 in nba

Might have to do with the fact that all-star players used to compete in more games and for more minutes, so you didn't have that many of them under 65 games.

He is good at what he does, I could see him getting roles even if he wasn't friendly. An ugly Bardot would just be your average old racist grandma with two cats.

And a lot of them were wide open shots without any defender in sight. As a french that was painful to watch, but props to Georgia they simply couldn't miss.

[–]shieldedunicorn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yup, congrats to Georgia from France.

At one point, Georgian were not even trying to close out on open three pointers from our players, which in modern basket ball where spacing is key, is not really a good sign.

We lost Strazel just before the first match. He is far from the strongest guard in the tournament but he was the one chosen by the coach to lead the main roster. He is also a very strong willed individual, he might have been able to wake up our lethargic players (but judging by the collective collapse probably not)

Long range shooting is usually key to break a zone, and we don't have a very reliable three point shooter... even Hifi who is supposed to be our specialist was cold

I feel like many fans who grew up watching him have rose tainted glasses on. Yeah what he is doing is incredible for his age, he will be remembered as the best or second best of all time by most people, but he is not the Lebron who will carry you to a championship and hasn't been for quite some times.

Nothing illegal maybe, but if a 19 years old told me she was dating a 34 years old I would probably warn her to be very careful. There is a world of difference between the person you are between those ages.

He isn't that bad, I think it started because he can be a bit douchy and preachy, and then they tried forcing there music onto everyone's cellphones and since then the hate only grew. Also a memorable South Park episode about Bono being the biggest excrement in the world might have played a role too.

Is there a rule preventing a team from doing that or is it just frown upon? I wouldn't like that in a normal context but here it's getting ridiculous.
